Arthur Holland Michel is a writer and researcher focused on artificial intelligence, advanced surveillance technologies, and drones - among other topics. His writing has appeared in a wide number of publications, Including The Economist, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Wired, and Vice. he has conducted original research for the United Nations, The International Committee of the Red Cross, Peace Research Institute Oslo and other organizations, and serves as a senior fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. He is a founder of the Center for the Study of the Drone at Bard College, and was its Co-director from 2012 to 2020.
