Founded by Arthur Holland Michel and Dan Gettinger in 2012, the Center for the Study of the Drone at Bard College was an interdisciplinary research and education initiative working to understand the implications of unmanned and autonomous technology in both civilian and military domains. In 2020 the Center wound down its active operations as its staff took on new roles. The Center’s website features its full archive of reports, interviews, research resources, and the Weekly Roundup of news, commentary, analysis, and technology updates.

You can still reach the Center’s staff at csd@bard.edu.
